City Council Meeting

The City Council will meet on June 4, 2013 at 6:00p.m. at City Hall.
McBrayer Park Movietime

Join us for a FREE movie in the park sponsored by McDonalds. The movie BRAVE will begin at dusk, but activities will begin at 7pm.
Candlelight Vigil

The American Legion Post 330 is honoring our fallen heroes at the Hampton Train Depot. Guest Speakers will be Major General Hood US Army Ret. and Mayor Chris Moore. Hampton Idol, Angela Newton will be performing and there will also be a Huey flyover, weather permitting. Join us at 8pm for this first annual event.
District 2 SPLOST Meeting

The meeting for SPLOST IV concerning District 2 will be June 6 at 6pm at Fortson Library, 61 McDonough Street.

Main Street Program

The Hampton Main Street Program is coordinated by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs and is designed to organize activities within downtown Hampton to promote revitalization. This program aids with the development of the City’s core commercial areas. The Main Street Program works closely with the Hampton Downtown Development Authority and the Hampton Historic Preservation Commission in developing action plans for implementing the revitalization of the program focusing on design/historic preservation, promotion, organization/management and economic restructuring/development.
