Gift of Lights at AMS
It’s back but bigger, better and brighter than ever before. Get the entire family into the Christmas spirit by heading to Atlanta Motor Speedway and seeing how over-the-top decorating looks while being able to brag you’ve driven on the famed Atlanta Motor Speedway oval.
In Observance of Thanksgiving Day, City Administrative offices will be CLOSED November 27 & November 28. We will re-open Monday, December 1 at 9:00a.m.
Trash Services will be delayed on day. Trash will be picked up on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 29.
Join us Thanksgiving Night at 7:00 pm for the lighting of the tree in the Depot Park. There will be Christmas carols, complimentary cocoa and cookies and a spectacular lighting of the 26 foot tree.
Small Business Saturday
Saturday, November 29 is Small Business Saturday...come out and support your local businesses! Be sure to stop by the Depot to pick up your Shopping Bags and Entry forms between 8:00a - 3:00p. Small Business Saturday is the day we celebrate the Shop Small movement to drive shoppers to local merchants across the U.S.
Christmas at Home Parade
Join us Thursday, December 4 from 7-9pm for the Christmas at Home Parade, complete with Santa and his LIVE reindeer. The parade will line up at Hampton Elementary School at 6:00 pm. Downtown businesses are open late and provide tasty holiday treats. There will be snow machines and pictures with Santa! This event is sponsored by the Hampton Business & Merchants Association. Cookie Decorating with Mrs. Claus
