City Council Meeting

The City Council will meet on June 4, 2013 at 6:00p.m. at City Hall.
McBrayer Park Movietime

Join us for a FREE movie in the park sponsored by McDonalds. The movie BRAVE will begin at dusk, but activities will begin at 7pm.
Candlelight Vigil

The American Legion Post 330 is honoring our fallen heroes at the Hampton Train Depot. Guest Speakers will be Major General Hood US Army Ret. and Mayor Chris Moore. Hampton Idol, Angela Newton will be performing and there will also be a Huey flyover, weather permitting. Join us at 8pm for this first annual event.
District 2 SPLOST Meeting

The meeting for SPLOST IV concerning District 2 will be June 6 at 6pm at Fortson Library, 61 McDonough Street.

Hampton Historic Preservation Commission

The HHPC meets the 4^th Thursday each month at City Hall, 17 East Main Street, at 6:30 p.m.

Mission statement: The purpose of the Hampton Historic Preservation Commission is to establish standards to preserve, protect, and restore the character of Hampton, GA, and to insure that future development is compatible with the character of the historic areas of the town. The Hampton Historic Preservation Commission believes it is important to recognize our history by encouraging property owners to preserve, protect, and /or restore the historic integrity of their properties. The HHPC serves to support and assist property owners with these preservation efforts, which in turn enhances the character, appearance, and property values of the city of Hampton, GA.

Hampton Business & Merchants Association

The HBMA meets the 2^nd Thursday each month at the Train Depot, 20 East Main Street, at noon.

Mission Statement: Hampton Merchants workign together to give our community a voice in Henry County and hositing famiy oriented, business sponsored events within out City. The Hampton Business Merchants Association, the voice of Hampton’s Economic Community.

The Tree Board meets the 3rd Monday of each month at City Hall, 17 East Main Street, at 6:30 p.m.

Mission Statement: Provide support to Presercation, Conservation and Education and any other ways possible towards trees, shrubs, and vegetation within the City of Hampton.
