Street Department Position

The City of Hampton is hiring for a position on our Street Department. High School Diploma or equivalent is required, one year related experience preferred and a valid driver’s license. Work will be performed under the supervision of the Street Department Supervisor. The City is a Drug-Free Environment, Equal Opportunity Employer, and participates in E-Verify. Community Development Technician

The City of Hampton is hiring for a Community Development Technician for our Community Development Department. This is a clerical position and is involved in the building and zoning function, including long-range planning, code enforcement, and real estate. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in data entry and basic computer skills are necessary.  Work will be performed under the supervision of the Community Development Director. Custodian

The City of Hampton has a Custodian position available. This position is responsible for the general maintenance and cleaning of City facility, including but not limited to, City Hall, the Train Depot and the Police Department. Duties include the routine and regular cleaning, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming of floors. . High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Work will be performed under the supervision of the Deputy Clerk. The City is a Drug-Free Environment, Equal Opportunity Employer, and participates in E-Verify.
